Admissions

Rolling Admissions
Princeton Preparatory Schools offers rolling admissions, which means no deadlines for new student applications! Whenever you are ready to join us - even in the middle of the school year – we are ready for you, so long as spots are available.

Please Note: Our programs fill up quickly so applications will be placed in order of their application dates. In the event we are full, families will be contacted once an opening is available.

Step 1 - Visit our School

The admissions process is designed to help you learn as much as possible about our signature Montessori programming and help us get to know you and your child.
We recommend that you take some time prior to your visit to consider what’s most important to you and your child when it comes to finding the right educational environment and come prepared with any questions you might have about us and our schools.
Tours are held on Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 pm and Saturday at 10:00am by appointment.

Step 2 - Schedule a Trial Week

Once we’ve had the chance to get to know one another, you’ll have the chance to apply to our school programs.  We will send you a link inviting you to apply once you’ve completed your tour.

After the initial tour, the child attends a Trial Week which costs $250. This is a very important step in our application process as both parents and school gain a better understanding of each other.

Step 3 - Admissions

After the Trial Week, we will determine if your child is a candidate for our program. Children must have a level of independence to thrive in our program and be able to communicate their needs for a restroom and be potty proficient by age 3.

Once confirmed, applicants must pay a one-time Application Fee of $500.00, Annual Material Fee of $300 and Semester or Yearly Tuition. Once the application form, enrollment fees and material fees have been received, we will begin processing your application and discussing the next steps for admission.

PLEASE NOTE: The ages we accept are from 18 months to Lower Elementary (8 years). Prior Montessori experience is not a prerequisite. We look for students and families from all cultural backgrounds who will fit into our community, culture, and share our values.

Financial Commitment

Commitment to the three-year development cycles of the children is essential. Families should be prepared to enroll their children only if they are committed to allowing the child to complete the entire three years of each cycle. This is preferably ideal but once again ideal may not always be practical and so to accommodate transient families and other uncontrollable circumstances unless otherwise noted students are enrolled for the entire academic year and summer if applicable. Families will be held responsible for keeping with the terms and conditions of the yearly financial obligation to the school. Once enrollment is complete the school commits itself financially to insure the student has a place in the Montessori educational program for that entire year. Since the payment of tuition is the basis for running the school as well as funding the cost of salaries, supplies and capital improvements yearly, the tuition payment is not subject to a refund and the obligation to pay full tuition may not be cancelled, either through absence of dismissal by the school or withdrawal by the parents for any reason, at any time through the year.
